Top 5 Easy, Yet Effective Vegan Activism Methods

There are many ways to spread our message and plant seeds of compassion. To help you with your own personal activism strategy, here is a list of ideas.

1.) Talk with your friends & family.

Yes, it really is that simple. Change happens on the individual level, so why not just have a meaningful dialogue with the people you know. You never know, they might just agree with you.

Have a nice chat.

2. Get Sticking!

If you live in a town or city, you know how loud & noisy it can be with non-vegan messages. We live in an animal-eating culture after all. Why not put a few vegan messages out there to wake people up & challenge their assumptions. Vegan stickers are one of the most effective and cheapest ways of doing this. If you get some that catch the eye, and you put them in a prime position where people will see them, potentially hundreds or even thousands of people will read your sticker.

3.) SHARE Vegan Content on Social Media

Maybe the easiest one on the list. Just click share. If you see vegan content you want to share, put it in front of the people you want to see it and possibly even make it go viral. To make this most effective, you have to be savvy with your targeting. Find niche groups online (like subreddits and facebook groups) that will also want to share what you have to share. Domino effect! If you play your cards right, you may have just helped a post to go viral, for all to see (including non-vegans).

4.) CREATE Quick Vegan Content for Social Media

With the help of free software & apps, making valuable content has never been so easy.

5) Vegan T-Shirts: Wear Your Message!

I love this one. It triggers curiosity and conversations. It also just feels SO good to express yourself in clothing you really love. There are hundreds of designs out there and varying prices, so depending on your tastes and budget, there is a t-shirt out there for you. You might want to go wild and design your own custom t-shirt. Make sure you find a t-shirt you love so that you wear it very often so more conversations are ignited.
